The influence of the architectural approach and the Japanese art of paper folding called origami is evident in fashion designer Ronaldus Shamask's works. The architectural method uses geometry in folding and shaping designs while origami uses only straight foldlines.

Ideas and techniques on applying sewn features of the cowboy shirt, such as piping, smiling pockets, shaped yokes and bobs and cowboy cuff, on other every-day clothes are discussed. Sewing piping, for example, is best made by a zipper foot in the form of a ski.
