Christian Delpeuch, the president of Conseil Interprofessionel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB) has planned to involve changes in vineyards and marketing techniques due to reducing domestic consumption leading to decline in sales. He hopes to dramatically reduce production, improve quality, and then be in the best position to sell more wine to Americans.
