The efforts of California Winemasters to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in the United States are reported. Details of the event - the eleventh annual Culinary Evening - are described.

Some of the small, family-owned domaines that are contributing to Chateauneuf-du-Pape's increasing status as a source of unique, high quality wines are presented. La Bastide St. -Dominique, Charles Bravay and Domaine de la Cote de I'Ange are some of the nine family-owned domaines helping lead Chateauneuf-du-Pape to new levels of quality.
