Bidders responded enthusiastically and most percent -sold rates were in the high 80s as 8,600 lots of rare and fine wine worth more than 13 million dollars were consigned to the global salesroom. The Latour collection described as 'the finest single consignment of estate-sourced Latour ever to appear at the auction', realized 738,000 dollars for the 193 lots and was 95 percent sold.

The manner in which a wine has been stored is an important factor in determining the price it will fetch at auction. When a reliable wine collector sells a bottle, it will cost more than a bottle that was owned by someone who is not well-known.
