Ernest Gallo of E. & J. Gallo Winery turned 90 years old in 1999, and he is still active in the winery he co-founded with his late brother, Julio, in 1933. The winery was known for producing jug wines for many years, and began producing commercial wines in the early 1990s, which have received much acclaim.

A buying opportunity in Bordeaux
Article Abstract:
The 1995 Bordeaux is rated as the best since the 1990 wines. The new wine will be sold as futures since the 1993 wine is just coming onto the market. Because of its excellence, the wine may not be available later at the prices found today. Serious collectors are urged to buy the 1995 Bordeaux futures.
