King Kona
Article Abstract:
Kona coffee is the only American coffee sold on the market. The coffee bean is grown in Hawaii, and has unique overtones of spices, nuts and flowers. Most coffees labeled as Kona coffees are blends, because they are only required to contain 10% Kona to bear the name. Pure Kona can cost $20 to $30 per pound, but because it is so rich, that pounds can yield 60 cups at $.50 per cup.
