Meeting Italy's gentle giant
Article Abstract:
A sampling of Amarone wines from 1941-90 made by Italy's Masi winery reveals their wonderful taste. Amarone wines are made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara red wine grapes that are dried for three months to allow the sugars to concentrate.
