Portraits of wine: Thomas Stiltz uncovers a passion in his paintings

Article Abstract:

An insight into Thomas Stiltz, a hitherto unknown artists induction into the world of wine painting and wine collection, with passion and success is presented. His painting of wines leading to his new passion for collecting wine, his success as a painter of still life featuring exclusively wine paintings and his wine collection is elaborated upon.

Drinking well and looking good: Designer Alexander Julian produces his own wine label

Article Abstract:

Fashion designer Alexander Julian's latest project includes a California red wine called Alexander Julian Private Reserve, which shares its name with a men's sportswear collection he launched in 2002. Julian began his work on his wine label with the help of Lancaster Estate owner Ted Simpkins.

Scholarly pursuit: A professor's passion for wine transcends everyday drinking

Stephen Gendzier teaches French and comparative literature at Brandeis University. He also collects wine and corkscrews, and runs his own wine club. While teaching French history, he uses his knowledge of wine to help put events into context.
