Article Abstract:
Walkers can return home and consume a selection of several zesty soups that were left to simmer on the stove. Recipes are given for the following soups: lentil-pumpkin, chicken-vegetable, vegetarian minestrone, mulligatawny, cream zucchini, beef and beer, and harvest onion soup. A yogurt garnish recipe is included.

Inspiring women

Several Canadian women are honored for their bravery in fighting illness and for the support they have given other sick individuals. These include Edna Cohen, who showed true friendship to a breast cancer patient, and 90-year-old Edith McNish, who is still active in community events at her age.
