Skane Food Academy: a model for the future?
Article Abstract:
Skane Food Academy is a project involving food and packaging companies, local authorities and the Lund University in Sweden. They aim to become an international centre for food industry research and development. Skane is the centre of the Swedish food industry due to its fertile soils and its proximity to the remainder of the continent. Companies including Van den Bergh Foods, Tetra Laval, Frigoscandia, Pogen and Scanebrannerier are involved in the project.
