State-of-the-art freezing systems - a good way to ice product quality
Article Abstract:
There are several freezing systems available. The newest is freon immersion freezing which has many advantages including cost and simplicity. Cryogenic freezing is much more expensive and is its major drawback. Air blast freezing is the most popular freezing technique. Plate freezing is good for regularly shaped solid products, or products already packaged such as frozen fruit and vegetables.

A community of strangers

A writer details his experiences as an innocent voyeur in his New York City neighborhood. For years he watched several of his neighbors through the large windows at the west end of his loft, developing a sense of intimacy with them. A shared experience with one neighbor led to an encounter.
