Italian restaurants in the US are getting closer than ever to the essence of Italian taste, as American chefs who cook Italian food reinvent the genre. Such chefs represent a new generation of Americans who understand the ingredients and the ideas behind Italian food and have thus become successful in changing the way people think of Italian food for the better.

The 1995 vintage of Oregon Pinot Noir is not as good as the 1995, unfortunately, because of a chilly, rainy season. A few excellent wines emerged from the state, however. Wines are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes and prices provided.
