Too little of a good thing: few Italian restaurants have wine lists that do justice to the quality and diversity of Italian wine

Article Abstract:

The US boasts more good Italian restaurants than ever, but two food and wine critics on a dining tour of the US found wine lists seriously lacking. One exception is Valentino in Santa Monica, CA, which has an award-winning wine list. More Italian wines should be offered.

Rating the Michelin three-star restaurants

Article Abstract:

Alain Ducasse has the best food, and Georges Blanc has the best wine list. Eighteen three-star restaurants are rated on a scale of one to 100 on the basis of food, wine, atmosphere and service. All of the restaurants are expensive.
