Tougher times ahead for Tuscany

Tuscany has produced a bounty of high quality wines, from simple Chiantis to super Tuscan reds by combining nature's generosity with advances in viticulture and wine making. Wineries are already complaining of declining sales in Italy and above this dozens of new wineries and wines coming in the markets is making tougher times for Tuscany.

Luca Sanjust: when wine becomes art

Sanjust is a 43-year-old artist who moved from Rome to Tuscany to make wine, as he believed that the family estate could produce great wine. The combination of Sanjust's creative instinct and the sound advice of top Tuscan consulting enologist Guilio Gambelli has transformed Petrolo's wines into some of Tuscany's best wines.
