A corner of Cornwall: celebrating the National Trust

Article Abstract:

Landowner Fanny Talbot donated 4 1/2 acres of Welsh coastline to the National Trust in 1895 so that its dramatic landscape and historic buildings could be preserved for future generations to enjoy. The National Trust has succeeded in preserving the beauty of the coastline up to the 1990s.

Rutland: England's idyllic countryside

Article Abstract:

Rutland, located some eighty-five miles from London, is reputed to be the smallest town or county in England. One of Rutland's attractions is the stately Hambleton Hall. The hotel, which was built in 1881, is considered to be one of the finest country-house hotels in England.

France's winter Olympics resorts

Article Abstract:

Courchevel, in the French Alps, is the site of the Winter Olympics. It also boats fine French cuisine. World class restaurants such as Le Bateau Ivre and Le Chabichou offer excellent food. A description of the area and a list of hotels are included.
