Barrow, Alaska, is home to an Eskimo settlement whose survival depends on the gathering and hunting of food, which is mainly provided from whales, waterfowl, fish, walrus, seals, and caribou. Issues concerning the annual Nalukataq thanksgiving feast and celebrations are presented.

A traveler shares his dining experiences in Israel. He also went to restaurants in Tel Aviv, Jaffa and Jerusalem. Among the dishes that he sampled are falalel and tahini. Three of the fancy restaurants in Tel Aviv include Keren and Capot Tmarin.
