Article Abstract:

Good cooking skills do not guarantee that children will eat what is on the table. In general, children like foods that are simple to prepare. Anything too spicy or too fancy will not suit their tastes. Prepared foods are also a favorite of kids as some parents have found out.

Chives lend themselves well to a variety of recipes and mix well with other herbs. Recipes are given for green goddess-chive dressing, chive-goat cheese spread, fried catfish with chive-ginger sauce and Yukon gold potato and chive soup.
