Nutrition and autoimmune disease

Article Abstract:

This study has found striking effects of fish oil and antioxidant supplements on gene and T cell subsets. Fish oil taken as a supplement in capsule form has been shown to be a useful anti-inflammatory intervention. Fish oil capsules taken together with antioxidant supplements also have been beneficial in suppressing rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.

Dietary fat, breast cancer, and nonspecific immunity
