Health care in the 105th Congress: a hopeful look forward

Article Abstract:

Legislators will debate again the issue of health care in the coming 105th Congress. After the failure of the 104th Congress to enact laws on a comprehensive health care reform, some legislators are committed to introduce bills in the next Congress to finance Medicare and Medicaid spending, broaden health insurance coverage and improve the quality of affordable health care services. In addition, the 105th Congress will discuss the role of government in regulating health care.
