Effect of aging

Article Abstract:

Research presented concerns the relationship between aging, physical inactivity, and insulin resistance. Findings suggest aging by itself may have only a small impact on insulin action, rather, age-related fat accumulation in the abdominal region accounts for the majority of insulin resistance in aging individuals.
