Palma is the capital city of Spain's Majorca island. Tourists are drawn to the city's fine art and architecture, rich culture and excellent cuisine. The city is home to hundreds of restaurants, cafes and food shops serving specialties such as ensaimadas, crespells, cocarois and coca.

Sweden's candy kingdom: welcome to Granna, the candy cane capital of the world

Granna, Sweden, is renowned for its production of a Swedish version of the candy cane called polkagrisar. Amalia Eriksson began the town's association with polkagrisar in 1859, and now there are many candy cane shops and even a museum. Modern flavors such as kiwi offend some purists.
