A brief review on Emeril Lagasse, host of the Food Network's Emeril Live and The Essence of Emeril, chef and owner of the numerous restaurants including Emeril's, NOLA, and Emeril's Delmonico is done. His recipe for Duck and Wild Mushroom Gumbo, a refined version of New Orleans classic is presented.
