The Wood Technology Clinic and Show will be held from Mar 15-17, 1995 at Portland, OR's Oregon Convention Center. There will be 445 exhibitors. The show will be held in conjunction with the Pacific Woodworking Conference which will feature management and technical sessions. Lumber producers who want to start value-added manufacturing should learn from the experiences of other companies. Producers should try to find a niche market to buy their new products. Planning should include a study of raw materials and equipment costs plus analysis of production costs in relation to expected prices.
