Industry's largest show gets even bigger this year
Article Abstract:
Ligna Hannover '97/InterHOLZ '97 combined trade show launched innovative wood products and equipment for forestry and wood industries. Ligna Hannover, the World Fair for Machinery and Equipment for the Wood and Forestry Industries, exhibited wood crafts, sawmill technologies and wood materials. InterHOLZ '97, the International Timber Fair, offered exhibits of wood by applications and end uses. The combined show registered 115,000 participants from 115 countries.

Bigger than ever: IWF '98 expands into third huge hall
Article Abstract:
The 1998 International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair offered wood product and machinery manufacturers a good opportunity to launch new products. The exhibit place was about 695,000 net square feet and more than 1,200 companies exhibited their products. Challengers' Award winners also were announced.

No kidding: Techni Bois was bigger, better this time
Article Abstract:
There were over 400 exhibitors at the Techni Bois 98 trade show in Quebec, a 60% increase over the 250 exhibitors for the 1996 show. Attendance increased to 6,000 in 1998 from 4,200 in 1996. This growth reflects the growth of the wood processing industry in Quebec.
