Pseudohyponatremia: a reappraisal
Article Abstract:
A false measurement of serum (blood) sodium level can occur in cases where the levels of blood proteins or lipids (fats) are unusually high. The article reviews the most common laboratory procedures for measuring serum sodium levels and explains the cause of such false measurements. The author makes recommendations for the rational use of different laboratory methods in various clinical situations.

Pork prices in the US have fallen as a result of overproduction. Experts believe the supply of is greater than demand, driving prices as low as 10 cents per pound. They also believe it is as a result of the slaughterhouses that closed in early 1998 because of low supply.
