The use of methamphetamines among Americans is on the rise especially those in the mid-20s. A 1997 survey conducted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration reveals that there are 5.3 million users of methamphetamines from age 12 and above.

Lost beneath the mountain

Article Abstract:

Josh Dennis had gotten lost in the abandoned Hidden Treasure Mine while on a camping trip. The ten-year-old boy was lost for five days when he was rescued by John Skinner, a chemical-plant foreman who knew the layout of the mine well.

They never came home

Article Abstract:

About 5,500 teenagers die in automobile accidents in the US every year. About two-thirds of the victims were sober when the accidents occurred. Usually, the main factors were inattention, inexperience or a sense of invincibility.
