Ian Aldrich's experiences and memories of his family in the business of carpentry are discussed. Ian also shares his experiences in making a Shaker-style table which is level and strong at the end of the last day of the class that he taking and which he can't wait to show his incredulous family.

Red's letter days

Former Boston Celtics basketball coach Red Auerbach led the team to 16 NBA championships from 1950-66. He played professional basketball for one season only, in 1942, and coached for several teams throughout the rest of his career.
