St. Joseph's Church in Worcester, MA, reopened and held Mass on Aug 4, 1996. The reopening came after parishioners held a 13-month vigil to protest the closing of the church. They even held Mass outside during that time, with anywhere from 10 to 250 people attending.

Geranium morality

A fool for daffodils

Article Abstract:

Gardener Vallie Wells's obsession with daffodils led her to establish the New England Daffodil Show. She died shortly after planting daffodils at the cemetery where her husband was buried.
