But Fall River said no dice
Article Abstract:
The city of Fall River, MA, did not approve construction of a bingo hall for the Aquinnah Wampanoag Native Americans despite the efforts of activist Beverly Wright. Critics of Wright claim that her depiction of natives living in poverty was exaggerated. The effects the fight had on the natives and Fall River are examined.
