Irritability can be defined as quick excitability to annoyance, impatience, or anger-whining to edge. A number of relatively simple strategies involving minor systems changes, reframing or coping attitudes, or communication, the tricks that may be effective in defusing the tension is observed when irritability becomes apparent in the patient-physician encounter.

A sudden discontinuation of caffeine use causes withdrawal symptoms such as headache, fatigue, and mood changes. Caffeine use should be stopped gradually, not suddenly.
