Christmas at war
Article Abstract:
A handful of military veterans shared their recollections of how they celebrated Christmas while serving the country during either World War Two, the Korean War or the Vietnam War. The experiences include those of a prisoner of war and a private who was to meet his wife.

Circus Smirkus is a traveling circus based in Greensboro, Vermont, and featuring young troupers performing acts of clowning, acrobatics and juggling. The circus was founded in 1987 by Rob Mermin, a professional clown who was born in Connecticut but trained in Europe .
