Article Abstract:
A compilation of cases where justice is abused is presented. One story involves a man who physically damaged a little boy for life but was sentenced to imprisonment for a mere two years less a day. Other cases involved a rapist, an aboriginal criminal, and a child molester who were all given light punishments.

700 pages of "simply put." (legislative absurdity)
Article Abstract:
351 pages was used by the parliament for a bill to simplify the Goods and Services Act. The original act only had 343 pages. This absurdity is excacerbated by the 352 paged explanatory notes and the 78 paged draft legislation provided to supplement the bill.

Article Abstract:
The wheels of justice grind exceedingly slow for the surviving victims of a crime. Canada's criminal justice system tends to be too lenient on criminals who often blame their unstable mental and emotional state on their being victimized when they were young.
