Women often cry during an argument because for them expressing rage is not socially acceptable. Men usually respond when a woman cries by being aloof, angry and condescending. A man may resent a woman who has seen him cry.

Many women feel that unsatisfactory treatment by a man is normal behavior and that a man who behaves badly is more interesting. Women need to value themselves more and to realize that nice men are not necessarily dull.
