The way in which eight-and nine-year-old third-graders are students of Audrey Sussman's Farm House Bakers in South Egremont, Massachusetts, U.S. are discussed. In her 200-year-old Colonial home, Audrey runs regular classes, teaching these children how to prepare a family meal, make soups, and bake special holiday desserts and even how to roast chicken.
