Biotechnologists believe they have have discovered a gene that affects aging in humans. This discovery is part of an ongoing study by scientists to find a way to slow down the aging process and prolong the lives of humans. The hormone DHEA is seen as an effective medicine against the onset of aging.

Men over age 40 often exhibit symptoms similar to those of women experiencing menopause. Difficulty in sustaining an erection is typical among many men of this age, and the psychological consequences can be dire. Testosterone replacement therapy is being tried.
