First ladies restored to prominence

Memorabilia of our nation's president's wives is on exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History. The exhibition 'First Ladies: Political Role and Public Image,' shows not only photos, dresses and other artifacts but examines the First Ladies' role throughout history.
