For the love of music

Pianist Jon Nakamatsu's love for music allowed him to survive the rigor of living a double life, that of a career teacher and a music student. With the help of his mentor, Marina Derryberry, Nakamatsu was able to train consistently for the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, while engaged in his teaching career.

Do animals fall in love?

Article Abstract:

Although not yet fully proven, many believe animals do fall in love. There are tales, such as the dramatic rescue by a work elephant of her calf who was trapped in rising flood waters in Burma, that suggest animals are also capable of displaying true love.
