Freeing Camp Santo Tomas
Article Abstract:
The liberation of the University of Santo Tomas from the Japanese Imperial Army during World War II was recalled. Dennis Greene, who was 18 years old at that time, described his experience as a captive in the occupied university campus together with his father and younger sister.

The year 1945 witnessed the end of Nazi Germany's domination of Europe and the victory of the Allied Forces. It was one of those rare instances when Russians and Americans jointly celebrated their success.
