Data gathered from 1,200 survivors of heart attack reveal that individuals living alone nearly double their risk of another attack compared to those having companions. Researchers speculate that human contact influences heart activity and increases chances of getting medical attention.

A study shows that heart-attack survivors who live alone are twice as likely to suffer another attack as those with companions. Doctors cannot explain the reason for this since other factor seems did not seem to have an impact on the study results.
