Houses of healing
Article Abstract:
Zachary Fisher and his wife Elizabeth have built several houses which accommodate veterans who are undergoing treatment in facilities far from their homes. Fisher Houses accept all veterans and their families depending on the seriousness of their illness and their income.

The Department of Veterean Affairs is failing in its job to provide treatment and shelter for America's war veterans. Many veterans either suffer poor treatment and counseling or are forced into the streets.
