Article Abstract:
Pistons basketball player Joe Dumars has sponsored a camp for disadvantaged youth since 1992. He learned to share with others from his father who encouraged neighborhood children to use the basketball hoop he built by sawing an old door in half. Dumar's other contributions are discussed.
