Article Abstract:
Forensic anthropology is useful in solving historical puzzles whose answers have eluded scholars for years. The experiences of a forensic anthropologist in uncovering the truth behind the deaths of Peru's Marquis Don Francisco Pizarro and the US' 12th president, Zachary Taylor, are recounted.

Left for dead
Article Abstract:
Robbers repeatedly stabbed Troy Sallee after robbing his video store in North Bedford, IN, in the evening of Jul 11, 1988. He managed to survive the ordeal and was able to supply valuable information which led to the arrest of his tormentors.
