Lost in an underwater cave

Article Abstract:

Gustavo Badillo was trapped in an underwater cave for 36 hours. His family spared no expense to find him and even to hired an expensive private plane to fetch an American diving expert. Dehydrated and in total darkness, Badillo survived the ordeal by keeping his composure.

Into the deadly smoke

Article Abstract:

A description of how one man attempted to rescue his family from his burning house is presented. He used a painter's ladder to reach his children from the bedroom window and then he moved on the help his next door neighbor, who was trapped under a piece of furniture.

Cobra attack!

Article Abstract:

George VanHorn is a snake handler at the Reptile World Serpentarium in St. Cloud, FL. He was bitten by a king cobra on June 21, 1995. He was given several vials of king-cobra antivenin which led to his recovery.
