Issues concerning the ways in which people are being increasingly encouraged to control each other's behavior are discussed. Behavioral science professor Dennis Brissett and sociologist Charles Edgley claim the US has become a nation of meddlers.

A human behavior observer confesses to being a procrastinator. However, he sees procrastination with a positive light. For him, procrastination represents optimism since a procrastinator still hopes for another day to continue something.
