Boy Scouts in Albany, GA, helped during the floods of the summer of 1994 by filling sandbags, delivering drinking water jugs and carrying water to the elderly. They also worked as volunteers at the Emergency Operations Center.

Scouts in Colorado held a Gateway District Snow Bowl in sub-zero weather in Jan 1994. They participated in a Klondike derby that combined racing on homemade sleds with performing scouting skills.
