Article Abstract:
Scientists use high powered telescopes, such as the Hubble Space Telescope, to detect and study planets. Astronomer Robert Brown has spent several years searching for planets in distant solar systems. A new camera on the Hubble, which is expected in 2002, will make planets more visible.

Shuttling to Mir
Article Abstract:
The Space shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to dock at Russia's Mir orbiting space station in May 1995. The docking procedure, which will take several days, was conceived to signal the beginning of a new era of US-Russian cooperation in space.
