Article Abstract:
Telemarketing fraud is rampant in Canada with over 150,000 people getting calls from fraudulent telemarketers annually. In Canada, most phony telemarketers pretend to sell lottery chances, prizes and investments. Some pointers on how to avoid being victimized by fraudulent telemarketers are presented.
