Some of the think tanks are true to the original focusing on a religion based cultural agenda where as some new breed of political reformers disguise themselves whose focus is on the narrow interests of their largest sources of cash corporations. Pushing a corporate agenda of lower taxes and less government regulation, the powerhouses of the business right include such think tanks as the American Enterprise Institute, Cato Institute, Competitive Enterprise Institute and Hudson Institute.

The urban green revolution

Article Abstract:

Mayors from around the world gathered in San Francisco in June 2005 to draw up an ambitious plan for the green city of the future and to discuss how cities could lower their impact on climate change and environmental decline. A report on the United Nations summit on urban sustainability and the growing global green cities movement is presented.
