Article Abstract:

The Actors Studio was founded in 1947 by Elia Kazan, Cheryl Crawford and Robert Lewis. It was headed by Lee Strasberg who advocated the 'Method' or realistic approach to acting motivated by real-life feelings. Three of its 860 members include Paul Newman, Anne Bancroft, and Paul Winfield.

Kate Hepburn never cried

Article Abstract:

Actress Katharine Hepburn was 13 years old when her 15-year-old brother Tom committed suicide. Hepburn married Ludlow Ogden in 1928, divorcing him in 1934. Hepburn never married again, although she had tragic love affairs with director John Ford and actor Spencer Tracy.
