Microsoft announced a $250,000 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction of SobigEs creator thus indicating the level of threat the viruses are to Microsoft.

Seth MacFarlane's animated sitcom "Family Guy," which is aired on Fox, has been subjected to a letter-writing campaign to its sponsors. The attacks have all come from Father Richardson Schell, the headmaster of MacFarlane's former prep school. A group called the ProudSponsorsUSA sent letters to 20 advertisers alluding to some of the more offensive humor on the show.
